Happy Friday! Yesterday my friend Ava and I tried a new restaurant downtown Chicago called The Kitchen. It had a good menu selection with tons of healthy options. I decided to get a salad and it was easy to alter to my dietary restrictions, which is always nice. If you’re in the Chicago area and looking for a restaurant located on the riverwalk with a good view this is my recommendation. If you’re wondering why I am wearing a skirt in January it’s because it was 50 degrees today! When I checked the weather I got too excited. Even though it was still chilly out I took advantage of my chance to wear a mini skirt and over the knee boots. Can we just talk about my new cross body bag? I’ve gotten some accessories from Rebecca Minkoff but never a bag {now I want tons more}. I purchased this in New York City when I was there and I haven’t stopped wearing it since. It’s the perfect size for a day out, plus it has stars on it and you all should know by now that’s my obsession.

Check out The Kitchen – I got the Shawarma Steak Salad with dressing on the side, no feta cheese and added avocado!

OUTFIT

Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody  – This one is super similar. It might be a little bigger than the one I purchased.

Jacket- I purchased from Von Maur a couple years ago for $11.00!!! Can’t find it anywhere 😦 This one is similar and under $30.00

Similar Sweater

Over the knee boots – I wear these with literally everything!

Similar leather skirt – The one I am wearing in the photos above was purchased from Forever 21 a couple years ago.
