Styling Dresses in December

Photos by: Isabella Perelli

I ordered this Free People dress containing such a beautiful silhouette and color I wanted to feature it in my blog in a casual look and a going out look. I purchased it in a size small and it fits me snug enough to layer something fitted underneath and to also wear on it’s own. My favorite detail in this dress is the high slit. As you can probably tell I was posing very similar in all of these photos just to show it off haha.

Since New Years is approaching I think this dress would be perfect for your party plans! Velvet is one of the most popular trends right now and can easily be incorporated into your outfit. Even in the coldest months of the year!

Some ways I would wear this dress for going out is to layer underneath with sheer mesh!

Here are some that I think would compliment this dress for going out looks.

LOVE THIS ONE, It’s on sale too! Details are everything

Complementary colors!! Blue would look good with this color dress

I also would layer with some festive tights..

because stars are just everything

if you aren’t afraid of sparkle

Some shoes for party season!!

Sparkly sneakers

Over the knee boots, elongate those legs 🙂

If you’re feeling bold, and they’re on sale

Here are some Ideas for wearing this dress casual..

Layer with a comfy puffer

Fitted graphic tees underneath

Some shoe options

Net Sneakers

LOVE the details on these

The positive about the cold seasons is that it’s easy to just throw on a huge puffer..

Velvet compliment

LOVE this one, metallics are super in.

I wanna start doing these type of posts because I feel as though a lot of people see fashion blog posts and maybe aren’t sure how they could wear the items. So I hope this helps! 🙂

lots of love,
