October 5th, 2013.
Four years ago, I was at a high school football game cheering on number 15. My biggest crush. I remember being so excited to be able to hug him and tell him how great he did after his big game. Getting home that night I received a text saying “Come Outside”. I walked out to my driveway to find Jace Mckinley Krull waiting on the hood of his black Honda with a bouquet of flowers, then the words came out, “Will you be my girlfriend?”
This was the night. (10/5/2013)
I don’t even know where to begin expressing the love I have for this individual. Jace walked into my life when I strongly needed him. He showed me how a man is suppose to treat a woman and respect her. Jace has never failed to be there for me throughout all of these years especially when I had the idea of moving to Chicago. What makes me love Jace the most is the fact that he has helped me follow my dreams and helped me become the person I am. He is the one who pushed me to make one of the biggest changes in my life by moving so far from people I love to chase my dream and I honestly couldn’t have done it without him.
Not many relationships can handle long distance but for us it’s never been about that. For us it’s about chasing our own dream and supporting each other along the way. Out of the four years of being together, half of our relationship has been long distance. Having to experience college without him has been so hard for me, but the love I have for him makes it easier. I get to look forward to seeing him or face timing him and most importantly I love seeing him happy in his own element. One day we won’t have to say “goodbye” and I just can’t wait for that day.
In these four years we’ve experienced traveling to several states, road trips, and lots of food (our favorite thing lol). What’s crazy is we have experienced our first prom together, winter dances, my family weddings, graduation, and basically all big events in my life so far Jace has been there. Jace isn’t just my boyfriend but he is apart of my family and my very best friend.
Jace Mckinley Krull has had my heart since October 5th, 2013. I love him with all of my heart and I honestly couldn’t imagine life without him. He means everything to me. I am so excited for what the future holds for our relationship.
Happy four years my love!
Here are some photos from the years..
